The new µVisk packs high accuracy viscosity measurement capability into a compact, portable system. Weighing only 1.5 lbs, it slips easily into a briefcase and can be taken virtually anywhere. While small, it measures viscosities from 0.2 to 20,000mPa-s with 2% accuracy of the measured value across its full range. Repeatability is 1% and it operates over shear rates from 1.7 1/s to 5,850 1/s. Its integrated, rechargeable battery makes 100+ measurements on a charge, so it’s perfect for taking measurements in the field.
